Hasan Abbas

Syed Mohammad Hasan Abbas Razvi (Ahsan), is a renowned poet and  nohekhan of Hyderabad Deccan India. His father was the great Nawab Mir Saadath Ali Rizvi "Sartaj". He started his shairi in 1972, at the time of his graduation. He wrote two ghazals for the College Annual Magazine. His father did the correction (islah) of the gazal and his taqallus "Ahsan"  was given to him by his father. His father expired in 1974 and due to the family commitments and studies he was unable to say any sher.   

After a long interval of twelve years he started to recite and write. In the beginning he was an apprentice of Late Shaier-E-Millath Hazrath Baqar Amanath Khani Sahib and later he had the honor to learn from Shaier-E-Saqqa-E-Haram Ali Javid Maqsood Sahib(who is his dear friend and student of his late father). Then later he was referred to Hazrat Adil Najmi Sahib by Javeed Sahib. He learned a lot from Najmi Sahib. In 1990 he was able to say sheirs by himself.

In 1972 he started reciting nohas for Anjuman-E-Parwana-E-Shabbir and in 1972 he became the Sahib-E-Bayaz of the Anjuman.

The first Manqabat he recited was in the honor of our Second Imam (a.s), Imam Hasan-E-Mujtaba (a.s)in 1984.The mehfil was at Janab Abbas Zahid Sahib. He has visited  all over India, UAE, Kuwait and Doha  to recite his shaiery.

In January 2004 Anjuman-E-Alamdar-E-Hussaini has hosted a Mehfil-E-Madhe Ahlulbait (a.s). Hasan Sahib recited his Kalaam (whole night) and was given the title of "Shaier-E-Shabih-E-Paighamber (a.s)" by the Anjuman.

Two of his books has been published "Darya-E-Aqidad" (Khatath and Manaqab) "furath-E-Aza" (Salaam and Nohe)
